Bright and Sunny Warm Weather Weddings
One of Victoria’s favorite aspects of warm weather weddings are the flowers, specifically bold yellow sunflowers. These striking and tall flowers are a great theme for any occasion (especially weddings). They are a happy flower.
Their rich yellow hues can be matched with a number of different themes and colors: rustic, naval/military, vintage, boho, country, beach, etc. They can also be mixed and matched with teal, purple, red, orange, white, and even black (if you want to go for a darker, yet elegant theme). The variations are only limited by your imagination.
Trending at VG Invites: A vast array of sunflower themed invites and paper crafts.
Select invites are all handmade and available as downloadable MS Word templates. All of these are available as customizable digital downloads which you can edit and print at your convenience. You will be able to edit the wording, match the font to your wedding theme, and delete the background if you need to. You can find the details on each of the links above.
Weddings can be such an orchestration with a majority of things that are left in the hands of fate. While we might not be able to control all of the aspects of the ceremony, one of the many things we can control are the invitations. Take the reins and print your own sunflower themed invites.
Extending The Sunflower Theme
The theme doesn’t have to stop with the bouquets and invitations either. Sunflower centerpieces are a great way to brighten up the tables. You can also make sunflower escort pails. You can buy tiny pails or vases at your local gardening center or hobby store. You can fill it with water and place a cut sunflower in with the escort card or you can plant a small sunflower in it to send home as a favor with your guests. Use a small stake to insert and display each guest’s card.
If you have some gardeners amongst your guests, consider sending them home with some sunflower seed packets as favors. You can buy them in bulk and send them away as is or you can match the seed packets with small garden stakes or signs with a warm saying, some gardening gloves, or little trowels.
