VG Invites is excited to announce a brand new line of invitations. Victoria has been working hard to develop her brand new line of MS Word invitation templates. They’re customizable, easy to use, editable, and printable.
From a DIY perspective, it might feel as though making your own invites would help you save money but in the long run, there are plenty of ways to get some great designs without having to deal with the extra stress of getting your invitations “just right”. If you don’t have any experience designing invitations, flyers, or adverts, it can feel like a daunting task to create your own plan. DIY invitations don’t have to be created from scratch by you. Buying a template online is a great option for a Do It Yourself invitation.
Enter, the MS Word invitation template. As long as you’re fairly savvy in MS Word, these templates will be a breeze to customize. It is a great money saving option as well.
Unfortunately, due to license restrictions, fonts are not included but if you open the editable invitations template in MS Word, you will be able to choose your favorite font. It is fully customizable:
Printing and Cutting It Down
Since it is printable at home, you can choose the style and quality of paper that you want. Perhaps you want a thick cardstock in a certain color to match your theme or perhaps you want a fun, lightweight invitation for your daughter’s birthday party. Something that she can carry in bulk to her classroom. You can choose to print at home, which is the more accessible and easiest option. This may mean buying some test sheets of paper to see which sheets work well with your printer. However, there is the option of taking it to a print shop or a print station at your local mailing or office supply store.
While you don’t need a professional grade paper cutter, rotary cutter, and tape gun to cut out your own printable invitations, remember that the amount of time and money you put into your invitations will determine how it looks in the end. You can find a great paper cutter and rotary cutter at your local art store for as low as $25. A 12-inch rotary paper trimmer is a great investment and will work for a number of different projects.
